Mechanical soil properties: friction angle, cohesion, moduli

From direct shear and triaxial test results the tool determines the internal friction angle and cohesion by least squares fitting, and computes the oedometer and deformation moduli from consolidation data.

Standards

Oedometer processing to a standard of your choice: ASTM D2435 and EN ISO 17892-5 report the compression index Cc on the log scale and derive Young's modulus from the constrained modulus through Poisson's ratio, while GOST 12248 uses the tabulated beta factor. Consolidation cv by the Taylor square-root-of-time and Casagrande log-time constructions, both from ASTM D2435. Shear and triaxial fitting by least squares, with statistical processing per section 7 of GOST 20522.
